How did you guys troll, Estelore and the rest of you? Is the evidence of your work still up?
I witnessed a raid of another forum a few years ago. It was pretty epic. Much more than 3 members (it must was like 15 if I remember correctly) invaded another forum and basically spammed like madmen. They created 1000+ new topics in the space of a couple of days, posted old and new memes from 4chan all over the place, got banned and re-registered over and over again, and drove all the natives crazy.
The forum was set up in a way that made it easy for them to do what they did. Only supermoderators had the option of IP banning, so any banning done by moderators could be easily bypassed by registering a new account. They used proxies too to circumvent IP bans when necessary.
They weren't rude though, or insulting. Just really random, posted a lot of bad poetry excerpts and overused smilies.
It was sort of amusing to see, though I understand how it'd be obnoxious too.
Life is like a game of plartz the wurblik. You never know how you're gonna gnagix.

They have deleted (with only two harmless exceptions) all evidence that I was ever on their forum.
No rules were broken, and the only things we did that could honestly be considered rude were in the final thread we put together, with all of us posting at once (which is what resulted 'officially' in the banning).
Actually, until that one thread, my/our behaviour was exemplary, by RAF standards.
