Well, there's an Iron Man board and a Narnia board, so...why not?

I, of course, plan on seeing it tomorrow come hell or high water, neither of which have been predicted yet on the news (so I'm good).

I wanna see it...of course I'm a big Indy fan...dur...though that's really not why I got into archaeology myself, it's still really fun to watch, and y'know...he's a great character, I think.

Anyone else excited to see it??

Anyone seen it already?

I wanna see it, mostly because of Shia LaBeouf, lol.

But I saw the trailer and it does look heaps good, I haven't seen any of the other movies though.

Shia Lebouf is great in it.

Okay...official review without spoilers...

The plot was slightly lacking. It wasn't up to Indiana Jones standards, but it was good anyways.

The beginning and middle are excellent! But the end lags around a bit. Plenty of good lines (in my opinion), and still a ton of fun.

I liked it cheesy

Shia swinging on ropes with angry monkeys..

Uh wtf.

It's okay, a fun movie, just not Indiana Jones really. The UFO stuff was even more over the top than the old ones, a little too much yknow?? And Shias cool, he just shouldnt take over the franchise. I mean "Mutt Williams and the Bones of Ho Chi Mins' uncle?" MUTT WILLIAMS?

Nah. Need Harison to continue or just retire this thing. Cant have Indy made after Speilberg and Lucas retire anyways, it wouldnt be the same.

Cool movie, it just shouldnt have been made. Its better thant he SW prequels though.. Its just a shame George got his filthy CG hands all over this. the man's senile. sadsad

SPOILERS (SORTA KINDA)

haha thats exactly what i was thinking at the end, when everything just started being absorbed in a swirling vortex and a giant space ship appeared. just jeez george special effects really screwed you up lol dont really explain anything or have much of a conclusion at all, just end in a massive showing of movie magic lol
tobs was pretty dead on tho, the beginning and middle were awesome and the end was just bad, and there really wasnt any concluding battle or final puzzle for indy to solve, grr, and the overall plot was a little unusual...aliens...really?

Well that's what I was TRYING to say without the spoilers, guys XD

But yeah....space ships and monkeys following Mutt around and saving him from the ruskies at the end of the chase? Puh-leeze. That's when I started to lose interest.

The fact that there's a MYTH about crystal skulls being made by aliens doesn't mean that you actually have to have them in there, you can come up with dozens of other explanations that are more "Indy" than interdemensional beings...

...and I believe in the POSSIBILITY (not that there are, just that...as Matt McConnaghy's character said in the movie Contact -- if there's nobody else out there, isn't that just kinda a waste of space?) of aliens, but that was rediculous.

/rant

Thusly why I liked the beginning and the middle up to the end of the car chase, and then they just kinda lost me.

Yeah, the end was kinda... meh. I mean, at least the aliens didn't come out of nowhere, there WAS some foreshadowing to it, but it was still pretty WTF. It would have been a good plot for something like Doctor Who, but I really wasn't expecting it from an Indy Jones movie.

But was anyone else thinking of Animorphs #11 at the part with the ants?
