I'm not at all inclined to believe that she visits every random Animorphs fansite that's out there. But, on the off chance that she actually does visit here, my most burning question (that I can think of off the top of my head) would be thus:

How is it that none of the Animorphs have ever been taken to see a therapist? Especially once the war is over?

I don't have a question yet (you said one at a time in any case) but I do have something I want to say to Katherine.

Thank you for making such an incredibly brilliant book series. Animorphs was one the first book series that I really liked and was probably what got me interested in reading in the first place. It's also my favourite book series and always will be, plus it has encouraged me to write stories of my own.

Oh, and I'm also a big fan of Everworld and Remnants! smiley

Why no therapy? Probably because when we started writing Animorphs we didn't have kids of our own. We were sort of guessing about parent-kid relationships, and I don't think the notion of therapy ever entered our consciousness. When we were kids there was no such thing as therapy for kids -- although we probably would both have profited from it. Of course now we have kids, so . . . Our son was born right around Animorphs #11. Our daughter came along post-Ani.

OMG, it's really her! shocked

Now that I got that out of the way... as far as therapy goes, I wouldn't be surprised if the Animorphs did consider to see a therapist of some sort after the war was finished and the secret of the Yeerks and Andalites was out. I'm guessing that if anyone went for therapy, it would've been Jake, especially seeing as how he ended up working in the military with Andalites, training new recruits.

Cassie may have went for it also, it just seems like the type of thing her character would do to sort things out and make peace with herself. Marco, who knows? If he did, he'd be too proud to admit it. And as far as Tobias goes, he just decided to go crazy and be alone by looks of things.

. . . .

Don't take this the wrong way, ahem, "Mrs. Applegate," but if you're going to act like somebody, at least act like the person you're acting like. I would be willing to play along, but you gotta make it believable. wink (Do not try to tell me that the real KAA would've been able to resist giving a sarcastic answer to that question.)

Er . . . I mean, OMGOSH, IT'S KATHERINE APPLEGATE!!!!! shocked

wink

I agree with DinoBot.

Okay, Mrs. Applegate. If you are who you say you are, then you'll be able to answer this question. Please, no one else answer this.

Riddle me this: What is everything to someone, but nothing to everyone else?

I'm surprised at the lack of faith. I'm sure it's her, if only because Richard and Ellimist say so.

If you're really Richie, then you should be able to answer this one.

Riddle me this: Mountains will crumble and temples will fall, and no man can survive my endless call. What am I?

I jsut read Richie's modification...sorry Richie. undecided And who cares what Mr. E thinks? Suddenly he's smarter than the rest of us just cause he's a mod?

I believed it was you the whole time grinIts good to see you still taking such an interest in your series so long after its been finished, and taking the time to talk with the fans who are still keeping it alive.

So if you'd like to answer another question: How did you feel about the TV show, and if you would like to see another adaptation of your series, what format do you think would be best?
